this week's Newsweek cover makes me happy on two levels.
Newsweek has caught on to something i've noticed as well in the past year. it's all of a sudden cool to be green. it's finally dawned on the people who determine what's cool and what isn't that the way to avoid having a mild hernia at the gas pump is to drive a more fuel efficient vehicle. or better yet, a hybrid. or still better, don't drive at all. people are all of a sudden catching on. maybe hybrids/biodiesel/being nice to the earth is a good thing! you know, it is getting hotter around here, maybe all those scientists were right about global warming! slow people drive me CRAZY, but this is a topic where i suppose it's better late than never. the newsweek article doesn't appear to be the most in-depth cover story they've ever done, but i gurantee you this issue of the mag won't sit on my bathroom floor and get wrinkled by drips of water and toothpaste, waiting to be read.
on the other level of happiness, the entire cover is in the color of green. there's no such thing as too much of the color green.

That's great!!! I can't wait to read it. I am hoping they come up with an automobile that runs on, well...air (green house gasses of course).lol
Until then, I suppose I will stick with the Cougar.
