carpal tunneling

i think i'm doing irreversable damage to my wrist when i type on my computer which is sitting on my desktop which is a good foot higher than the top of my lap as i sit in my desk chair. i love my desk chair so much though -- its a low-riding armchair covered in yellow velour (see photo). i guess the desk has gotta go.
