lazy saturday (minus the cupcakes)

ahhh, lazy morning bliss. reading in bed, newspaper and coffee on the couch, facebook stalking. c'est la bonne vie (babelfish translation - have never taken french). boyfriend called a little while ago, and i think he's probably upset i sorta blew him off.

him: "do you want to have lunch with me and my parents?"
me: "well, depends on what time. i'm still in my pajamas*"
*and very happy for that fact
him: "fine, you just rest or whatever and i'll call you later."

i don't know what that means, but whatever, i've enjoyed my morning of laziness. and now that it's noonish, i have THINGS i have to do. you know, like the laundry i've put off all week, dishes that need to be put away, personal bathing and grooming. monica geller-bing's got nothing on me, i LOVE all chores (except doing dishes). this day is going to be great! i'd make a great housewife if it weren't for the fact that i enjoy earning a salary and saying that i'm a careerwoman.
