ok, so with the two-month absence of cable in my life, i had to relegate to watching network reality shows, which of course means american idol.

and for the record, my prediction for the past three weeks has been this:

jordin sparks

i don't think she's the most talented one. that distinction obviously belongs to melinda doolittle (who by the way, is the hometown favorite here in the nashville area)

but jordin totally fits the american idol profile.

but, as a consolation to melinda and lakisha, the two ladies who are probably more talented than jordin, i think melinda and lakisha should join together and create the best r&b female duo this world has ever seen.
