reunited

hello friends,

after much too long of an absence, i have reunited with my blog once again. i have moved, the post office has found my house as has comcast and i finally have internet (sorta).

the sorta being because i managed to get internet and break the internet all in one day. i blame the wireless network i tried to set up in my house. i don't know how a wireless network can break the internet, but i do know the internet was working before i tried to set up the network and wasn't working halfway into the effort.

sigh.

i'm not actually writing to you from home now. i didn't have time to contact comcast before i left for the second week of my two-and-a-half-week assignment in the miserably small town of selmer, tennessee. the one good thing about being is selmer is that my motel room actually has wireless access (hence the blogging.)

funny story, after breaking my internet at home yesterday afternoon, i returned to selmer and my motel room and found i had also managed to break my wireless card (which is actually unrelated to my home internet not workinig). i had to make a late-night trip to the selmer wal-mart to buy a new one.

anyway, despite everything in the world conspiring to keep me away from my blog, i am indeed back.
