we got new license plates in tennessee in '06 that look significantly different than the stupid ones with the sun sitting on top of an outline of the state, which means people who have failed to get their new car tags stick out like a sore thumb on the roads.

and i get so mad at those people. especially when i notice the month on their plate says "apr" or "jun" or some month that is closer in the future than it is in the past. it's like why should i be paying my $50 renewal on time while you drive around with your blatant violation of the rules? i know you have to get your emissions testing done first, but really it's not hard. if i can find time to do it, anyone can. heck, i even got mine done early.

i even go so far as to have the thought that i'd like to be a cop so i could pull each and every one of these people over and ticket them.
