festivusing

the fact that i survived today is, indeed, a festivus miracle.

i made the quickest trip EVER to my relatives' place in dresden, tenn. that's in upper west tenn. quickest as in i drove the fastest i've ever driven there and i spent the shortest amount of time i've ever spent there. the moment i returned to nashville, i went to work and worked until 1130. and it was busy (keeping in mind i'm not in retail and, therefore, it shouldn't have been busy). then i went out for a beer with my dear friend and my boyfriend. and even just having a beer kept me away from home until 2:30.

all that being said, it's time for the airing of grievances.

1. i'm tired of this crappy work schedule. sure i love a day off in the middle of the week here and there. i do not love being forced to work at a time when all of God's creation is off.
2. i miss being around my family.
3. i'm pissed off for having gained back most of the weight i lost this year over the past two months.
4. lucy dog is chewing me out of house and home.
5. i'm just plain tired. i want to sleep more. i guess i'm keeping myself from doing that while airing my grievances.

i guess it's time to pin the host.
