christmastime is here

christmastime is officially here as evidenced by the return of three things:

1. the christmas lights hung in the shape of a martini glass on a house not too far from my apartment.

2. "barenaked for the holidays" by the barenaked ladies in my car cd player.

3. "a charlie brown christmas" on tv.
