i'm, like, totally stressed about picking out the hardwoods, cabinets and countertops for my townhome. i feel like this is a major, irreversable decision, such as naming a child would be.
the good news is the foundation is down!

I would go with light and neutral colors. That way you can change it out through the years as you see fit.
Maybe a light pine and a medium sand counter top.
I know that it is tempting, but stay away from the "harvest gold" and the hellish "green" that was ever so popular back in the day!
