project runway - the shirt

i haven't reviewed the past two project runway episodes because i haven't seen the third one - the dog outfit one - but i have seen the fourth one where four groups make an outfit for macy's inc clothes line. the winning outfit was featured in a window display at macy's herald square and was to be worked into the inc line.

i went shopping today to celebrate tennessee's first sales tax holiday (which turned out to be a total bust). i happen to love macy's and like inc, so i was perusing that area of the store. i had completely forgotten about project runway when i saw this white t-shirt with a sketch on it. it looked pretty cool, and on closer inspection i found that the design was that of the winning outfit on project runway with angela's signature (the winning designer). the back had a small project runway logo at the top, and the total cost was $27+ a 10% discount.

now i was under the impression that the actual outfit, which was fairly cute, would be made for inc, i didn't think it would be a cop-out put the design on a t-shirt and sell it move.

i tried it on. it was cute. i thought about getting it, but i didn't. $27 even minus the 10% and the sales tax is still too much for a t-shirt.
