monday, monday

as my boyfriend and i were coming home from the movies tonight, i was lamenting having to work tomorrow. he asked me what my schedule was for the week -- it's different every week. i told him i work days all week through saturday and have sunday off. but wait a second, where is my other day off for the week? i know i work saturday and not sunday, so the logical answer is either friday or .... monday. i made a beeline for my day planner when i got home to learn my other day off is monday, ie tomorrow!

it was like waking up at 3 a.m. and knowing you have four more hours to sleep. actually, it's like waking up at 3 a.m. and knowing you don't have to get up in four hours, you get to sleep in instead. it's like christmas morning right before you open your eyes to see what's in front of the tree. it's like that feeling that you got in school at 2 p.m. on the friday that began your spring break.
