krogering

i was chatting with my mother on my cell phone on my way to the grocery store today. because there are no quick calls with my mother and the grocery is only a couple of miles away, we still had much to talk about by the time i reached the parking lot. so, i did the decent thing and sat in my sweltering car until we were done talking.

i don't know why i bothered. apparently the cool thing to do now is talk on your cell phone while you're krogering. i mean there must have been at least twenty people in the store talking on their damn phones. i know i've been in a grocery and on my cell phone at the same time, but even so it is usually the (rare) quick call to my mom -- "if i were a bottle of lemon juice where would i likely be in a grocery store, mom?" so i'm really not sure why it bothers me. it's not like i'm trying to concentrate on dostoevsky. i'm trying to concentrate on which box of cereal matches up with my 50-cents-off coupon.

however, i do know i hate being cut off by an errantly driven shopping cart as i'm exiting the beer-and-chips aisle, which seems to only happen when the driver is on a cell phone.

bugger off buggies.

when i lived in ohio, i loved to go krogering! esprcially with the super double coupons.

The thing that pisses me off the most is when someone is on their cell and checking out. it's rude to the ppl behind them and especially to the cashier.

Hang the damn phone up people!

If u don't Spin and I will come and help you hang up!

Hehehehe!
