a new dunkin' donuts shop opened near my apartment this morning, and you would think it was the only one in the world with the line which queued up outside. it was a zoo!

i'm not sure i had ever had a dunkin' donut before. i'm a southern girl and have always had the glowing hot sign of krispy kreme nearby. the cakey dunkin' was good, i won't lie, but i will always prefer the ooey gooey taste of a hot krispy.

what was fabulous, though, was the coffee. either i'm accustomed to drinking such crap between what i buy from the grocery and what we stock at the office, or that coffee was awesome. i'm leaning towards the latter. they put the sugar and cream in the coffee for you, if you want them to. it was a cup o' warm, happy heaven.

the best thing about the whole event though? the fact that there was a cop out front directing traffic :-)
