project runway 3.2

almost a week late, but i've finally watched the second episode of Project Runway, season 3. like all reality shows that are some sort of competition, it takes me a few episodes to determine who i'm rooting for. my early favorites, however, are kayne and laura. kayne is just fun and both of his designs have been top-notch. he understood the challenge of designing for a beauty pageant and totally delivered. with laura, i love the 'i'm a bitch, but i'm good, so get over it' attitude. i'm sure some people hate her, and we'll see if i still respect her by the end of the season.

it hasn't taken me long to decide i do NOT like vincent. he's annoying. he's not very good. he should have been eliminated in this episode not only for the stupid sleeves he put on his otherwise decent (green) dress, but also for the horrible leadership skills (actually lack thereof) that he showed as team leader. i'm not so much a fan of angela, but good lord, she tried to do more. being a good team leader is what ultimately won it for my love, Harold Dieterle, on Top Chef. i guess it just goes to show that fashion does not mirror the real world, but food kinda has to.
