blindness

i've been having problems seeing lately, but fortunately my eye doctor fixed that during my last visit with a new eyeglass prescription. i went to lenscrafters to have the lenses in my current glasses -- and only the lenses -- replaced.

"we can't do that," the lenscrafters glassman said. "your frames are too beat up. you'll have to get a new pair of frames to get new lenses."

damn it all. i'm not in the mood to spend $250 dollars when i have frames that are completely intact. i'm sure it's just a ploy for them to sell an extra pair of frames. even with a coupon, it's still going to cost me an arm and an eyeball. i probably have eye insurance at work, but i haven't a clue how to sign up.

so for now i remain partially blind. if you see me out driving the silver bullet, i recommend staying far, far away.

Sometimes, you can have a prescription for the lenses and find a reputable place online to fill it without it costing an eyeball or an arm. I know it stinks to pay for glasses, but alas it is a necessity...good luck with the driving! I am glad I don't livr too close to you!!lol
